As the latest addition to our collaboration with talented designer Margrethe Odgaard, we add six new colour combinations to the Franja series.
ABOUT FRANJA
The Franja throw stands out from other designs by placing the fringes on the sides of the blanket instead of at the bottom and top, creating an alternative and intriguing aesthetic. At the same time, Franja's special two-coloured design offers the possibility to choose which side and colour to display while keeping the other side hidden. This versatility provides the freedom to customize the throw according to one's desires and preferences.
With a blend of 50% alpaca and 50% wool, the Franja throw is crafted to impress. The soft and comfortable surface of wool and alpaca gives the throw a special feeling of luxury.
MORE THAN JUST A THROW
For Margrethe Odgaard, Franja is more than just a throw. It is an artwork rooted in her childhood on Thyholm. Her deep connection to the place and the good, wholesome values she acquired there have inspired her to create the Franja throw.

THE INFLUENCE OF COLOURS
The colours in the Franja throw are not chosen randomly. They are carefully selected to create an emotional resonance. Margrethe Odgaard's work focuses on the influence of colours on people, senses, and emotions. The textiles act as a canvas that allows the colours to unfold their impact. The colours establish connections and awaken the senses. From light calm shades to deep dark hues, each colour tone has its own unique effect and meaning.
As a designer, Margrethe Odgaard strives to create simplicity and purity in her design. Anything unnecessary is removed, and the colours are allowed to speak their own language. The Franja throw is a bold result of the journey towards a more refined and focused approach to design.
